Right now I am working on shredding so I have to switch up my rep range to accomplish the look I want. If your goal is to lean out so you can show off the muscle tone you have hiding under your winter fat then you want your rep range to be at 15+ reps and your working weight should be relatively light , around 65-70% or your one rep max. If your goal is to put on muscle your diet must first compliment that goal while your rep range should be between 8-12 reps at 75-80% of your max. Rep range must change according to your goals. Most importantly, your DIET must compliment your training. If you are trying to gain mass but you are burning more calories then you are eating , it will be impossible. Your body is going to respond to the amount of calories you put into it. If it’s high, you will gain. If it’s low you will lose body fat. One will not work without the other!
